Love is in the air!

I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day. Whether you are in a romantic relationship or not, Valentine's Day (week!) is a perfect week to reflect on how much YOU are a loving, caring, and giving person. No need to wait for someone else to give you a box of chocolates, instead concentrate on what you could do to bring a smile to yourself and to someone else. Sometimes, it's as simple as saying hello !

I received 3 dozen beautiful roses (see pic below) and attached to the package was instructions to "remove the outer 2-3 petals which were left on to protect the roses during shipping".  Of course, I couldn't just throw the pedals away ... instead I am saving them for a warm relaxing bath. Ahhh, can it get any more relaxing than being surrounded by rose pedals. So if you have flowers and a few pedals start falling off, place them aside in a bowl of water for your very own special warm relaxing bath. Also, when you have a large bouquet, divide the flowers into a few bunches of flowers ... place a small bunch in the bedroom, dining room, living room, kitchen, even in the bathroom and see how the flowers will bring you a smile everytime you see them.

Check out this video - it shows Pat O'Bryan (an author/entrepreneur) - who brought a video camera into a coffee shop and asked people the question ... "What is Love?". There are several beautiful answers, such as "Love is expanded heart, when the heart opens ... ". Okay, okay I'll let you watch it instead of telling you about it. Enjoy!
