Patrick (my love) & I picked up our Christmas tree this year. The fresh tree smells wonderful in my home. Have you started your Christmas decorating yet? Have u ever been in a rush and saw something that stopped you in your tracks and brought you a smile? My recent Home Depot visit did - as I turned the corner from the nursery I ran into what seemed to be a "meeting" - a bunch of birds gathered around, see pic below:

Hmm, I know stores hire extra help during the holidays, but I was taken by surprise to see the cute birds in the area. And they were very helpful 1) they brought a smile to my face, and (2) led me to what I was looking for. Ahh, it's great when u have good help : )

I counted 5 total! No matter how busy the holidays can get, please remember to SMILE and enjoy the moment - especially in your home. A home should be designed to replish you when you come home - replenish your soul by bringing comfort, smile, luxury, and overall laughter. What one thing brings you a smile in your home when u see it? ... A favorite picture? .... a favorite comfy armchair? ... a favorite room?

Are there items that you do not enjoy having in your home? This is a great season to DONATE items that do not make you happy and that can bring someone else JOY! Check your locate listing for placing that accept donations. It feeeeel so good when we donate from the heart! Have a great day!
