What is the MOST VALUABLE treasure in your home? - You!

Happy Friday!!!!!!!! My coffee is soo delicious today - hmmm, could it be the ton of sugar in it or the holiday merriment? I think the latter : )

If you join me regularly u probably realized that I slightly changed the header my blog - adding "SOUL-LICIOUS" and my company motto: "the most valuable treasure within your home is you".

Why? Because I had an awakening ... my passion has been to help people live better within their homes and them"selves", and now the blog is going to be more: authentic to help you live better every day.

How? By empowering you to see and embrace the beauty that surrounds us within our homes. Embrace these beauties by looking within yourself and allowing what makes you happy SHINE within your home - maybe it's tulips elegantly leaning over a vase, family pictures framed with style and balance within a room, a child's wide eyes and huge smile, or having the most comfortable luscious face towels embrace you in the morning as you start living your day.

I plan on sharing more of me so together we can continue to live life to the fullest.

Like, did you know that I write in a gratitude journal almost every night? Before starting to do so, my days would zoooom by so quickly that I felt a bit unaccomplished (though I had accomplished about 1001 things), and it wasn't until I started writing in my gratitude journal that I "felt" a shift of gratitude for my days ... remembering of all the wonderful things that I came across today, instead of thinking of all the things that I hadn't done. My gratitude journal is my heart's reflections. It's not a recap of my daily to-do-list, but a reflection of what I was grateful for within the day - e.g. seeing a flower standing tall in the snow, having a beauiful bird fly up to my office window, my computer freezing up on me so I can restart it and "take a needed" break, etc.

Writing in my Gratitude Journal, I sometimes even cried (tears of joy) seeing all that I had. You see, I had lost my faith a loooooong time ago when a loved one passed away (and my thinking turned more analytical then spiritual) and this year I experienced a loss of 3 people dear to my heart - but this time it was different - I felt that their death was a beginning of their new life with the universe, and I even was able to let go of the pain I still felt for the loss I experienced more than a decade ago.

Here a pic of my Gratitude Journal - picked up a while ago at a supermarket [yes, supermarket] - I believe the cost was about $2.99 - remember, it is not about how much u spend, but how great it feels:

So remember, YOU are the most valuable treasure in your home! Do you treat yourself so? Well, if not (smack at the back of your head) you should! Start feeling great by appreciating life and FLAUNTING what you LOVE! Yes, FLAUNT away! Instead of decorating your home for what others may think - get a design that embraces YOUR true essence. Have your essence shine every day by recapping your "hearts reflections" on the journal. I guarantee it will make you feel GREAT! Feel free to drop me a line letting me know how you feel writing in your journal - ada@adasdesigninc.com. Hey, feel free to even send a pic of you and your gratitude journal! The below journal I spotted in www.staples.com:

Okay, I am now off to review my contractors list of to-dos for transforming another spectacular home to reflect my clients' personality. Have a MERRY weekend!!!
