This year went by so quickly that I almost feel like I have been teleported through time - wasn't I wearing my flip flops outside yesterday in new york?

As Christmas and the new year draws near I wonder what I would like to implement more in my life at "home". I believe it is nice to take a glimpse at the past so we can learn from it, but not stay too long in the past that we forget the beauty right in front of us - in the present. So what I wish to have more next year is ... designating more reading time to nurture my mind and heart with books that inspire my soul.

What do you need to get a great installation of floating shelves?

Besides my secret weapon contractor - Virgil Smith from VFS (he is the one in the below picture measuring, and his handly helper Pedro smiling at the camera), you need:

• a great design (these bookshelves hold about 75 pounds - nice!!!!, have a flowing look with a sassy white clip, and go well with the style concept of the room).
• a level (a small one and large one on-site) and pencil
• ladder (so you don't feel like u r doing a pilate workout when installing and stretching)

So, what is your holiday wish for this new year? More time for the family, more time for "you"? Remember, the healthier we are, the more we can take care of our loved ones - so live GREAT!
