WOW - a new year is just in a few hours!!! I wanted to take a break to share a few things with you before the new year (and if you are reading this post in 2009 it is never too late to live GREAT within yourself and your home!). Below are some ideas:

GRATITUDE: Have you taken a moment to seriously right down what you are grateful for this past year? Sometimes we get so caught up in the moment (work, school, kids, friends, a warm home) that we don't take the time for "us". So, prioritize you at home or wherever you may be and take a few minutes to review what n 2008 are u grateful for. I guarantee that when u look deep inside yourself to list your gratitudes you will be filled with a warmth of joy realizing how special our year has been - through the bad time, surfaces the good times!!!

Do you have a New Year wish? or Resolution? Feel free to email me your resolution/wish at ada@adasdesigninc.com. If you are a VIP subscriber, u will know that I love getting emails on how you are doing. My main resolution is to cut down drinking caffeine so much (I sometimes even have soda at breakfast ... I know I know it's awlful). So new year = NEW (healthier) ME!!!

HAVING FUN: This December I went with my love to see the wonderful performance of the Chrismas Carol. And who did I happy to see in the audience, 2nd row to the stage? SANTA CLAUS! He was he was! He was wearing his red velvet-like shirt, thin reading glasses, snow color hair/beard; and who happens to be next to him? MRS. CLAUS! She was! She was! And here is the picture proof:

As you can tell I am a kid at heart and I believe we live HAPPIER when we HAVE FUN! Whatever this year brought you - good memories, sad memories - it's time to say goodbye to the past and invite this new year into your life HAPPINESS, FUN, ADVENTURE, PROSPERITY, LUXURY, COMFORT, LAUGHTER. Why? because you deserve it! Treat yourself great especially in your home nourishing your sould with things you lovge. Throw in a SPLASH of fun this new year!! Maybe a new wall color, new pillows, new accessories that you LOVE and are complementary to your room decor to live in harmony with your HAPPY design style!
